Most energy companies produce electricity through the burning of coal. Burning these fossil fuels have great produce an abundant amount of smog. Things we can do to help:

1) Turn off the lights when not in use.

2) Replace old appliances that are energy inefficient.

3) Do not turn air conditioner or heater to the extremes.

4) Turn off air conditioner or heater when leaving home.

5) Use energy efficient light bulbs

6) Unplug unnecessary appliances when not in use.
